Milla Jovovich is deadliest action hero

Milla Jovovich

At our sister channel Movies4Men, we’re known for showing fast-paced films with some of the best action heroes in Hollywood and beyond. So, what better way to launch our new ‘Tough Guy Season’ this September than to name the 20 deadliest action heroes of all time.
Our in-house movie buffs have reviewed more than 350 titles including the Expendables, Aliens, Resident Evil, The Terminator and Die Hard to rate actors by their character kill count, with zombie-slayer Milla Jovovich topping the list.
The top twenty deadliest action heroes of all time are:

1. Milla Jovovich – 1,296

2. Jet Li – 1,076

3. Dolph Lundgren – 919

4. Arnold Schwarzenegger – 842

5. Chow Yun-Fat – 810

6. Sylvester Stallone – 786

7. Jason Statham – 718

8. Kevin Costner – 670

9. Wesley Snipes – 593

10. Nicholas Cage – 571

11. Chuck Norris - 458

16. Dwayne Johnson – 349
17. Daniel Craig – 348
18. Bruce Willis – 343
19. Tom Cruise – 341
20. Sean Bean - 331

Milla Jovovich takes the top spot for her deadly performance in the Resident Evil movies series, boasting a (we’re pleased to say a primarily zombie) kill count of 1,296 as well as a backlog of outrageous stunts and impressive martial arts skills.

Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Chow Yun-Fat also rank in the top five with a combined kill count of 3,647, followed by Sylvester Stallone and Jason Statham, racking up more than 700 apiece.

Kevin Costner, Wesley Snipes and Nicholas Cage complete the top 10 with 670, 593 and 571 respectively.

On the opposite end of the scale, the top three actors with the most world-saving films under their belts are Sean Connery with a total of 13 saves, closely followed by Bruce Willis with 10, and Keanu Reeves with nine.

To make the list, actors and actresses must have starred in at least ten movies within the ‘action’, ‘adventure’ or ‘thriller’ genres and received both combat and weapons training.

Airing from Saturday 1st to Sunday 30th September, our ‘Tough Guy Season’ celebrates some of the industry’s toughest heroes and will include feature films such as Resident Evil: Afterlife, Armoured, War Pigs and Precious Cargo.
