London Has Fallen tops UK Box Office
Action thriller London Has Fallen starring Gerard Butler has topped the UK box office on its debut taking in £3.2m in its opening week.
The film has exceeded the box office takings of its predecessor, Olympus Has Fallen, which also starred Gerard Butler, by £1m.

Elsewhere, although not officially open until next week, Kung Fu Panda 3 has taken enough in previews at the box office to rank second in the UK with takings of £2.2m. Previous chart-topper Deadpool, starring Ryan Reynolds in the superhero role fell to third spot although still took £2.1m. New George Clooney comedy Hail Caesar took in £2m in its opening weekend.

But the new Sacha Baron Cohen comedy Grimsby took in £1.1m making it the least successful of his comedy movies.
