Jennifer Lawrence tips Jodie Foster for US President
Jennifer Lawrence has tipped Jodie Foster to one day run for US President.
Speaking at the Britannia Awards in Los Angeles where she presented Foster, 53, with the Stanley Kubrick Award For Excellence in Film, Lawrence said that Foster had broken down barriers in Hollywood.
" I see a brave woman in a scary place. It reminded me of a woman who went behind the lines and started directing when it was not trendy for women to do such a thing. Please welcome my vote for the next President of the United States."
Foster, who was joined at the ceremony by her wife, photographer Alexandra Hedison, said on stage: “I can look to my wife Alex and say, ‘This is what I get to do for a living’.
Lawrence next stars in the sci-fi thriller Passengers, which is released on 21 December. Watch the trailer below!
